The Effects of Shadow-Reading on EFL Learners’ Reading Comprehension

چکیده
The current study investigates the effects of shadow-reading on development reading comprehension undergraduate students who studied English at Ajloun University College/ Al-Balqa Applied University. researchers randomly selected 100 EFL learners from Department Language College enrolled in course first semester2021/2022. were and second-year aged 18-22. sample was divided equally into experimental control groups. group exposed only to regular classroom instruction, while received instruction. conducted a posttest find out if there significant differences between both results indicated that affected positively. It is found more effective than other traditional methods teaching comprehension. presents several recommendations for language learners, researchers, teachers, syllabus designers.
